This month CV hosted our annual College Planning Workshops
for families of CV high school students. Parents of CV college students
volunteered to discuss their experiences with the college application process
with new CV families, and CV staff explained the different components of
college admissions and financial aid. Each workshop was split up into two
groups - Spanish-speaking and English-speaking - and stories were exchanged
about the fears and highs and lows of college admissions and financial aid
processes.
