As deadlines rapidly approached, College Access Program 12th graders finalized applications with the help of staff and volunteers at our annual application parties. The office was packed with busy students hard at work on tackling their first major deadline: the University of Rhode Island's Talent Development program application.  Every CAP student who intended to apply to URI met the December 15th Deadline. 

Students, as well as advisors, were happy to see all their hard work finally pay off.  For months students have been working tirelessly on their resumes, activity essays, and personal statements. Each time a student submitted to a college they announced the school(s) to which they had applied, and the room filled with cheers of praise and excitement. Everyone had a chance to celebrate their accomplishments.  Congratulations CAP class of 2012 on tackling your first major deadline!
